This time is crucial for our schools, as student attendance during the October Count window directly impacts the funding we receive to support our educational programs. Every day matters in Mapleton! Good attendance plays a crucial role in a student’s educational journey, serving as a key predictor of academic achievement and social development. In Mapleton, it's our goal to have students attend school at least 95% of the time – missing no more than nine days a year for any reason. It's time to complete the Annual Update!
The Annual Update is the online process where current Mapleton families may:
- Update contact information and emergency contacts.
- Add and enroll additional student(s) in the household.
- Enroll in a new school for the upcoming school year for a current student.
- Confirm enrollment for the upcoming school year for a current student.
Senior Deputy Superintendent Mike Crawford is launching a Listening and Learning tour to hear from as many families, students, staff, and community members as possible before taking over as Superintendent on July 1, 2024.

The Mapleton Education Foundation’s 2023-24 scholarship application is now open to Mapleton seniors! Applications are due Friday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m., and scholarships are available for students interested in attending traditional universities or colleges, vocational or technical schools, or even apprenticeship programs in-state or out-of-state.
